The Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars are close to finalizing a deal that would send pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue to Vegas. The Raiders are offering the Jaguars their 19th overall pick for Ngakoue and could look to give them more as a few Raider players have been on the trading block for some time now.
Despite the Raiders offering the 19th overall pick, the Jaguars want Las Vegas’s 12th overall pick but many sources say Jacksonville won’t get a better deal than what the Raiders are offering. The Jaguars currently have two 1st-round picks (9th and 20th) and can gain another one with the 19th pick tying for the most 1st round pick in 2020 draft with the Dolphins.
Ngakoue has publicly stated he wants out of Jacksonville and recently lashed out at co-owner Tony Khan on twitter Monday afternoon. For the Raiders they will be gaining one of the best pass-rushers in the league as Ngakoue recorded 8 sacks, 1 interception, 4 forced fumbles, and 13 tackles for loss.
