Chicago Bulls sign Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas as executive VP
The Chicago Bulls have hired Arturas Karnisovas to become the franchises’ next executive vice president of basketball operations.
Karnisovas and the Bulls are finalizing a multi-year deal after offering the job to Karnisovas after the Bulls conducted a second-round of interview. Karnisovas was previously the Denver Nuggets general manager where he helped build up the team into a title contender.
Chicago’s Previous executive vice president of basketball operations was John Paxton who was a part of the franchise since 2003. Karnisovas won the job as the Bulls were impressed by his history of talent evaluation and received a strong endorsement from Nuggets governor Josh Kroenke Karnisovas will now look for a new general manager and a few new pieces in the front office as he begins his journey to rebuilding the Bulls franchise.
