Tom Brady Announces He Will Not Be a Patriot Next Season

After nearly a year of speculating where Tom Brady is going to “open a new stage” in his “life and career.” Tom Brady announced on social media in an emotional good-bye to Pats nation that his time in New England has come to a close after 20 years and six Super Bowl rings.

With New England out of the picture, the likely destination for the best Quarterback of all time is the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers have been pursuing him since the playoffs ended and aside from the Patriots, this was the top choice for his free-agent destination.

New England now has a choice to make as the off-season rages on. The NFL Draft has plenty of Quarterbacks to choose from this year. Players like Jordan Love from Utah St. or Justin Herbert from Oregon both have the potential to be very good players. If the Patriots really want to, they could also trade up to take Detroit’s No. 3 pick to draft Tua Tagovailoa. The Patriots have a truckload of picks that they could unleash to get the star out of Alabama.

As for Brady, this will likely be his last season. He will be 43 years old by the end of next season and it’s time for him to call it a career. Brady solidified himself as the greatest NFL player of all-time in New England. He has six rings, 3 MVPs, and 14 Pro Bowl appearances to show for it. Tom Brady truly is the GOAT.
