Tony Romo signs $17 million dollar contract with CBS
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback now known as a world-renown football analyst has signed a record, $17 million dollar contract with CBS.
Romo will now become the highest-paid sports analyst in the history of television with this new contract.
Romo, with the Cowboys, secured a potential hall of fame career in which he threw for 34,183 yards, and 248 touchdowns.
Earlier in the year, Romo was reportedly being looked at by ESPN. It was also rumoured that they would attempt to make him their highest-paid analyst with a $14 million dollar annual contract.
However, CBS manages to retain arguably the best in the game. This new record-breaking deal is rumoured to run for over 5 years.
