Chicago’s Luke kornet had been sidelined for a while with his foot injury. The news has finally broken that he is going to miss about two more months, so essentially the season. It’s a shame for the young Center who was finally looking like he could be a solid rotational player.

By far the saddest news of the day, rising star, Kelly Oubre of the Phoenix Suns tore his meniscus shortly after they played the Utah jazz earlier in the week. Oubre was in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 18.7 points per game on 45.2% shooting. We’re all praying for the young man to make a speedy recovery.

Another injury update, Mavericks Point Guard, Jalen Brunson is  likely going to miss the rest of the season. His shoulder injury is still unclear, but Tim MacMahon says there is a possibility that Jalen Brunson has a torn labrum in his shoulder. Brunson was also having a breakout season so this would be a big loss for the Mavericks, who are trying to make it as far as they can in the playoffs.

The NBA has made a statement with this. After the Timberwolves rested D’Lo on February 23rd, the NBA used their anti-load-management policy to fine the T-Wolves $25,000. Them doing this really shows that the NBA is not joking aorund with their new load management policy, going with the famous MJ quote “You’re paid to play 82 games.”

A lot of injury updates, huh? Dennis Smith Jr may have gotten a concussion in their game against Philadelphia yesterday. He likely won’t sit out more than two games and with New York seemingly tanking, that is a good thing.

FINALLY!! We have all been waiting for the return of Stephen Curry. Although it’s not certain, there’s a good chance that Curry is just two days away from playing again!! He hasn’t played since October and it’s time to see the original three-point god finally get back onto the court.

Finally, Embiid’s injury turned out to be no more than a shoulder sprain. He should be good to go in 1-2 weeks. Embiid is crucial to the 76ers and the sooner the return, the better.
