On Sunday the 9th February 2020 the Boston Celtics were in Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder in Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The Celtics entered the game with a record of 36-15 sitting at the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. Point Guard Kemba Walker AMD Foward Jayson Tatum led the Celtics against the Thunder last night with Walker scoring 27 points, grabbing 4 rebounds and dishing out 1 assist. Tatum got a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

The Oklahoma City Thunder entered the game with a record of 32-20 and they had a starting lineup of Chris Paul, Luguentz Dort, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams. SGA and Gallinari both scored 24 points with Chris Paul and potential 6th Man Of The Year Dennis Schröder both scoring 22 points.

In the end it was the Boston Celtics who came out on top after entering the 4th quarter tied at 84-84. The Celtics scored 28 points in the 4th to win over the Thunder. The Thunder were very close but were unable to score enough as they lost by 1 point at the end of the game.

The final score was 112-111 to Boston giving them a record of 37-15 and giving the Thunder a record of 32-21.

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s next game is against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday evening. The Celtics are playing the Houston Rockets in their next game on Tuesday evening.
