After a couple of days of speculation surrounding Russell Westbrook and his future with the Oklahoma City Thunder, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news at 8:26 ET . Westbrook, who has only played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in his professional career up until now, has been traded to Houston. In return, the Thunder not only receive 9x NBA All-Star Point Guard Chris Paul, but also two first round picks for the 2024 and 2026 NBA-Draft, and pick swaps for 2021 and 2025. As of now, it’s unknown whether any protections or additional players are included in the deal.
