Tacko Fall: The Unwanted Prospect

By Joseph Cervantes
After getting undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Tacko Fall has established himself as one of the most popular names in the NBA Summer League. On June 21st, The Boston Celtics signed undrafted University of Central Florida center Tacko Fall to an Exhibit 10 contract. Tacko Fall is a 7-foot-7 center who makes himself stand out against other players in the Summer League with his enormous size. His size and 8-foot wingspan makes it difficult for other centers to box him out which gives Tacko a HUGE advantage on defensive and offensive rebounds.
Celtic fans seem delighted to watch him in the Summer League as they praise him each game chanting, “We want Tacko” when he’s on the bench and “MVP” when he reaches the free-throw line.
Tacko Fall’s most recent game was against the Denver Nuggets, where he recorded an astonishing 12 points on 5/5 FG in a Celtics win. Tacko Fall only played 12 minutes against the Nuggets, but he registered a plus 9 margin during his short stint on the court.

If Tacko Fall keeps expanding his game as time progresses during the Summer League, he can certainly land a two-way deal with the Boston Celtics to play with them this upcoming season. Many NBA teams will regret not drafting Tacko Fall, but that may be a good thing for Tacko because it’ll give him the motivation he needs to become a Star.
