Being reported by Brian Windhorst, the Golden State Warriors will offer Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant both 5 year max deals to keep the Warriors dynasty alive.

Just last night, the Golden State Warriors we’re defeated by the Toronto Raptors to win the NBA Finals in 6 games. The Warriors lost more than just a championship. In Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors were taking on the Houston Rockets with the series tied 2-2. In the third quarter of Game 5, Kevin Durant took a fade-away jump shot over guard Iman Shumpert. As Durant was running back to the other end of the court, he went down with a calf injury. This injury kept him out for the rest of the Rockets series and 3 games in the Finals against the Raptors.

Right away, Durant was ruled out over Games 1, 2, and 3. People thought that Kevin Durant was never going to play, but they were wrong. Before tip-off for Game 4, Durant was cleared to play. He was killing it. Had 11 quick points and was shooting a great percentage, but the Warriors nightmares were read. Kevin Durant made a move on Raptors forward Serge Ibaka and went down in a flash. He was seen sitting on the floor holding his heel, right where the Achilles tendon is. The Warriors still miraculously won Game 5 to force a Game 6, but they would have to do it without Kevin Durant again as he was later announced with a torn Achilles.

Now last night in the Raptors championship win over the Warriors, another Warriors nightmare was read. Klay Thompson was on a fast break with Raptors guard Danny Green. Thompson then went up to dunk it over Green, but the landing of Thompson put him to the ground and holding his left knee. Klay stayed down on the floor for a minute and then got back up just to head to the locker room, well so he thought. The Warriors informed Klay that he had to go shoot the free throws where Green fouled him. He then limped back on the floor and swished both free throws. DeMarcus Cousins then fouled Pascal Siakam to sub out Klay Thompson again. This time, Klay ran to the back. Then later in the third quarter, Klay was ruled out for coming back to the game. He went down with an ACL tear in that knee.

Now with Kevin Durant expected to miss a whole season and Klay Thompson to miss 9-10 months. The Warriors do not care. They want to keep their dynasty with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green.

Kevin Durant is said to be signing with the New York Knicks, the Brooklyn Nets, or the Golden State Warriors. Also the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers are expected to have interest in Durant. All of those teams are said to still Durant a max contract despite missing a year.

Meanwhile Klay Thompson has said to be expecting a max contract from Golden State to stay there. If not, then he said to be going to the Clippers.
