The Raptors Road To The Finals.

For the first time in franchise history the Toronto Raptors have made it to the NBA Finals. After beating the Magic, Sixers and Bucks the Raptors take on the Warriors in the Finals.

After only playing 9 games last season Kawhi Leonard was traded from the Spurs to the Raptors. He played 60 games this season and averaged 26.6 Points Per Game, 3.3 Assists Per Game and 7.3 Rebounds Per Game. He took control of this team and acted like a leader and it got them to the Finals.

In the 1st round the Raptors faced off against the Orlando Magic.

Game 1: Orlando @ Toronto.

In Game One the Magic pulled off a win in Toronto with a final score of 104-101. D.J. Augustin had a pretty good game with 25 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds all in 30 minutes. Nikola Vučević had 11 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds in 33 minutes.

Kawhi Leonard had a decent night with 25 points, 3 assists and 6 rebounds on 10-18 from the field with 3-5 from 3.

Kyle Lowry didn’t have a great game and ended with 0 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds.

Game 2: Orlando @ Toronto.

The Raptors tied the series with this game 1-1 with a final score of 111-82.

Aaron Gordon ended game 2 with 20 points, 2 assists and 5 rebounds. Nikola Vučević ended with 6 points, 3 assists and 6 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had a great game with 37 points, on 15-22 shooting, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Lowry was back to himself with 22 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds.

Game 3: Toronto @ Orlando.

The Raptors took a 2-1 series lead with this game with a final score of 98-93. Terrence Ross has a good game here with 24 points, 1 assist and 3 rebounds. Nikola Vučević had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. He also had 6 assists.

Kawhi Leonard had 16 points, going 5-19 from the field, 4 assists and 10 rebounds. Pascal Siakam had a pretty good game with 30 points, 4 assists and 11 rebounds.

Game 4: Toronto @ Orlando.

The Raptors took a commanding 3-1 lead here with a game 4 victory with a final score of 107-85. Aaron Gordon had 25 points, 5 assists and 7 rebounds. Nikola Vučević had 11 points, 2 assists and 5 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had 34 points on 12-20 shooting, 2-5 from 3. He also got 2 assists and 6 rebounds. Pascal Siakam had 16 points, 2 assists and 6 rebounds.

Game 5: Orlando @ Toronto.

Game 5, it was win or go home for the Magic and they just couldn’t get it done. Aaron Gordon had 11 points, 1 assist and 7 rebounds. Nikola Vučević only got 6 points, 1 assist and 7 rebounds.

The Raptors won and went through to the 2nd round with a 115-96 game 5 victory. Kawhi Leonard got 27 points, 2 assists and 7 rebounds. Pascal Siakam had 24 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds.

In total this series Kawhi had 139 points, 15 assists and 33 rebounds which overall is decent over 5 games.

In the 2nd round the Raptors faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers who had just beaten the Brooklyn Nets. This turned out to be a 7 game series and either team could’ve won it.

Game 1: Philadelphia @ Toronto.

The Raptors took the lead in the Conference Semis after winning 108-95.

Joel Embiid got 16 points, 2 assists and 8 rebounds, and Jimmy Butler got 10 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard got 45 points on 16-23 shooting and 3-7 from 3. He got 2 assists and 11 rebounds as well. Pascal Siakam finished with 29 points, 1 assist and 7 rebounds.

Game 2: Philadelphia @ Toronto.

The 76ers evened out the series 1-1 with a game 2 victory and a final score of 94-89.

Jimmy Butler had a great game with 30 points, 5 assists and 10 rebounds. Joel Embiid finished with 12 points, 5 assists and 12 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had his 2nd consecutive 35+ point game with 35 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds. Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry combined for 41 points with 21 and 20 respectively.

Game 3: Toronto @ Philadelphia.

The 76ers took the series lead with this game and what a game it was. Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler combined for 55 points with 33 and 22 respectively. Jimmy got 9 assists and 9 rebounds, and Joel got 3 assists and 10 rebounds. The 76ers beat the raptors 116-95 and shot 51.2% from the field which equates to 43/84.

Kawhi Leonard had 33 points on 13-22 shooting and 2-4 from 3. He also ended with 3 assists and 4 rebounds. Siakam got 20 points, 1 assist and 3 rebounds.

Game 4: Toronto @ Philadelphia

The Raptors even the series 2-2 with a 101-96 victory. Jimmy Butler had 29 points, 4 assists and 11 rebounds. Joel Embiid had 11 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had 39 points on 13-20 shooting and 5-7 from 3. He got 3 assists, 4 rebounds and 1 block. Kyle Lowry got 14 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.

Game 5: Philadelphia @ Toronto.

The Raptors take the lead with a game 5 victory in Toronto. A 36 point gap. A final score of 125-89 and the Raptors have the 3-2 lead. Jimmy Butler with 22 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Joel Embiid got 13 points, 1 assist and 6 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had 21 points on 7-16 shooting, 4 assists and 13 rebounds. Pascal Siakam had 25 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds.

Game 6: Toronto @ Philadelphia.

It’s win or go home for the 76ers and they win to even the series 3-3 and force a game 7. Final score of 112-101. Jimmy Butler had 25 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Ben Simmons had 21 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had 29 points on 9-20 shooting so not the best night for him so far, he also went 0-4 from 3. He also got 5 assists and 12 rebounds. Kyle Lowry got 13 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

Game 7: Philadelphia @ Toronto.

Game 7, the end of the series. It was a very tight game, 90-90 with just over 4 seconds to go. But Kawhi Leonard got the first ever game 7 buzzer beater to win the series for the raptors. Link below.

Kawhi Leonard had 41 points, including his game winner, on 16-39 shooting and 2-9 from 3. He also had 3 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Serge Ibaka had 17 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds.

In the Conference Finals the Raptors faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks who had just won a 5 game series against the Boston Celtics.

Game 1: Toronto @ Milwaukee.

The Bucks take the lead here with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez having good games. The Bucks won this game 108-100. Giannis had 24 points, 6 assists and 14 rebounds. Brook Lopez had 29 points, 2 assists and 11 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard had 31 points on 10-26 shooting and 1-5 from 3. He also had 2 assists, 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Kyle Lowry had 30 points, 2 assists and 8 rebounds.

Game 2: Toronto @ Milwaukee.

The Bucks take a 2-0 lead with a 125-103 win at home. Another good game for Giannis as he finishes with 30 points, 5 assists and 17 rebounds. Nikola Mirotić had 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Kawhi had 31 points on 10-18 from the field and 1-4 from 3. He had 2 assists, 8 rebounds and 1 block. Pascal Siakam had 8 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound.

Game 3: Milwaukee @ Toronto

The Raptors win their first home game of the series to begin their comeback. 118-122 in a 2OT game. Giannis had 12 points, 7 assists and 23 rebounds. Krhis Middleton had 9 points, 3 assists and 9 rebounds.

Kawhi finished with 36 points on 11-25 from the field and 2-4 from 3. He had 5 assists, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block. Siakam had 25 points, 1 assist and 11 rebounds.

Game 4: Milwaukee @ Toronto.

The Raptors even the series 2-2 with a 120-102 win at home. Giannis finished with 25 points, 5 assists and 10 rebounds. Khris Middleton ended game 4 with 30 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.

Kawhi only got 19 points this game on 6-13 shooting, he got 1 assist and 7 rebounds. Kyle Lowry has a good game with 25 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

Game 5: Toronto @ Milwaukee.

The Raptors take the series lead for the first time, 3-2. The Bucks seemed to play well but they just couldn’t beat the Raptors. Giannis had 24 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe had 20 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds.

Kawhi had 35 points on 11-25 shooting, going 5-8 from 3. He finished with 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. Pascal Siakam had 14 points, 2 assists and 13 rebounds.

Game 6: Milwaukee @ Toronto.

It’s win or go home for the Bucks as the Raptors look to advance to the NBA Finals. The Bucks played well but again they just couldn’t finish it, the Raptors advanced with a final score of 100-94. Giannis had 21 points, 4 assists and 11 rebounds. Brook Lopez had 18 points, 1 assist and 9 rebounds.

Kawhi had 27 points on 9-22 shooting, 7 assists and 17 rebounds. Lowry had 17 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds.

And after a 6 game series against the Bucks, the Toronto Raptors advance to the NBA Finals. This series Kawhi got 179 points, 26 assists and 57 rebounds. Bringing his totals up to 559 points, 69 assists and 159 rebounds.
