Saturday evening at 9pm ET Westbrook overtook Kobe Bryant for 30th place in most career assists. This doesn’t sound like much but it’s still an achievement.
Westbrook is now the 2nd all time Thunder scorer. In Wednesdays game against the Pelicans he needed 7 points to overtake Kevin Durant and he scored 20 taking him to 17,580 and 2nd place.
He needs 628 points to overtake Gary Payton and become the all time Thunder scorer.
And his twins were born a month ago so his family is getting bigger.
