WHAT THE FULTZ?!

Markelle Fultz was a dominant scorer and one hell of a basketball player.

His averages at Washington were:

23.2 ppg- 5.7 rpg- 5.9 apg

47% fg and 41% from 3

Markelle Fultz was supposed to be a phenom and the top 3 teams Philly, Boston and Lakers were projected to draft him but it was Philadelphia who Traded their 3rd pick and a future 1st round protected pick for the Boston Celtics #1 pick in the 2017 NBA draft. The 76ers chose Markelle Fultz followed by Lonzo Ball to the Lake show at 2 and Jayson Tatum to the Boston Celtics at 3.

After he joined the league it was reported by multiple outlets like espn, fox sports and the 76ers that Markelle was battling a shoulder injury. There was not a person in the world but Fultz and his Trainer knew about what the hell was going on. He came back at the end of his rookie year and played a grand total of 14 games averaging 7 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game.

Over the summer Fultz trained religiously with NBA trainer Drew Hanlen and he looked like he was definitely improving and was going to live up to the hype.

Many people including myself thought Fultz was going to come back better than ever and even predicted him to win the Most Improved Player but

Markell Fultz has a really rare case and I do not think this has ever happened in the league before.

His shot isnt just weird but his free throws are just……

News did break out that Fultz requested a trade and preferred a “fresh start”.

Overall the situation is odd to me but the fact that with his first 3 pointer made in the season all of the philly fans stood up to celebrate is very weird. Fultz has had it rough but i believe he can turn it around quickly if he were to be traded.

The best destinations for him would be

Cleveland

Phoenix

Boston

Houston

Atlanta

These are teams that are either desperate for anything or are known for improving players.
