Tyronn Lue Firing

Thank the basketball gods, Ty Lue is finally gone from the Cavalier franchise. After roughly two and a half years serving at the helm of Ohio’s sole professional basketball team Mr. Lue has been removed from his post and the Cavs nation now has something to celebrate. Currently at 0-6, Cleveland officially has the worst start of any team that was just in the NBA Finals the past season. After losing assistant coaches Jim Boylan and Phil Handy they were already understaffed in the coaching department. The day to day operations has been severely altered due to the loss of coaches, key players, and having a young core that still has yet to develop. However, Ty Lue can be seen as the scapegoat in a very ugly situation in Cleveland. The Cavaliers lost LeBron James who really had no help and not even Ty Lue was ready for life without the GOAT in Cleveland. When it comes to replacements, Larry Drew has assumed the role of head coach but will not accept the head job permanently due to the uncertainty of the position being permanent. In my opinion I think the Cavaliers should hire Jason Kidd. He had a really good time with Milwaukee and the opportunity is perfect. Kidd will not have high expectations but the organization will want improvement and that is what he will bring. If he can help Collin Sexton the way he helped Giannis than that will be just enough. The Cavaliers can only hire a temporary coach as I believe the problems in The Land are bigger than just coaching.
