Kyrie Irving Says He ‘Plans To Re-Sign’ With The Celtics

Boston fans worry no more. Kyrie Irving is here to stay. After a whole first season and offseason of the unknown, anxiety, fear, and maybe even doubt, Irving has verbally stated that he wants to stay in Boston.

Earlier in the offseason Irving was asked multiple times if he was willing to stay with the Celtics long-term. Irving never gave a clear answer, this made Celtics fans worry that one of the best point guards in the league might slip away from Boston. No one was really expecting Irving to make a clear decision anytime soon but on 10/4/2018 before the game, Irving made his statement in the TD Garden.
