The Hawks Have Big Plans For New Arena

The Atlanta Hawks have been renovating the Philips Arena this offseason. The arena is planned to become more modernized with a lot of different perks to it. Along with that it will also get a name change as the Hawks have signed a 20-year deal with State Farm to give them the naming rights to the arena.

The Hawks say that State Farm Arena, their new home after a $192.5M renovation, will feature the third largest NBA scoreboard, Topgolf Swing Suites, Killer Mike’s SWAG Shop (a four-chair barbershop overlooking the court) and the signature Hawks Bar, the NBA’s first courtside bar.

So if you are planning on going to a Hawks game this year, get ready for more than just an NBA experience.
