Kemba Walker’s Future
Kemba Walker is an all-star for the Charlotte Hornets. He has been in the league since 2011 and has always been a consistent scorer. A lot of rumors show that Kemba Walker is on the trade block, so that the Hornets can rebuild around players like Malik Monk and Miles Bridges. Also, Tony Parker was added in free agency, leading reporters to think that Kemba Walker’s time in Charlotte is ending sooner rather than later. Kemba just came off a season where he averaged twenty-two points a game. His time in Charlotte does not look like it is coming to an end. They have a new coach in James Borrego and a great veteran leader in Tony Parker. Charlotte has a top ten point guard in Kemba Walker. He is clearly one of the most underrated guards in the league. He averaged twenty-two points and a little less than six assists. With Charlotte exploring the market for Walker, their best bet is to keep him and help him grow alongside Tony Parker. Charlotte fans should hope he comes back to lead the team back into the playoffs. With Lebron leaving the east, playoff spots are open to any team. The Charlotte Hornets have a bright future if they decide to bring back their franchise player. Kemba Walker can have a breakout season and finally show that he is a superstar in the league. Along with the other key players like Miles Bridges, Nicolas Batum, and Malik Monk.
